The guests were delighted with the state of the facilities at the Centre. Mr. Nwaneri thanked God for the privilege of working for the less privileged members of society. He urged Nigerians to embrace volunteerism in order to foster the civilization of love, show the love of God to the vulnerable members of the society, and demonstrate that the non-profit sector can offer people great satisfaction. The guests were received by the Founder/CEO, Fr. Donatus Ukpong who explained the need for people to work for the promotion of human dignity. He maintained that human labour must definitely contribute towards the integral development of every human person. According to him, profit-making is not the only purpose of human labour. Profit is necessary for human undertakings, but such should be seen in the context of justice and equity and as medicine of human selfishness, and not to inflict more pain and suffering on society. The members of St. Vincent de Paul Society donated foodstuff materials for the upkeep of the patients, which were well appreciated by the Foundation. The visit ended with a prayer offered by Mr. Eugene Nwaneri.
