KELECHI REUNITED WITH HER FAMILY

An aura of great joy and relief enveloped the air in the little village of Umuabali, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Abia State as Kelechi Enwereuzo was reunited with her family members. Kelechi Enwereuzo, a woman of about  38 years was picked by up on 5th March, 2012 at Ibom Plaza as a mentally ill person by the Mobile Manna Foundation. She lived at the Plaza for more than two years.

The Mobile Manna Foundation took her to the Mental Health Clinic, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), Uyo where she underwent medical and psychiatric treatment from 5th March, 2012 t0 18th April 2012. Her bills and sustenance were handled by the Foundation.

In the picture above, Kelechi (centre) is flanked by her family members, the MMF crew and staff of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Umuahia at Umuabali, her home town on 18th April, 2012. Kelechi, who was a practicing journalist before her sickness needs rehabilitation and encouragement in order to resume a normal and engaging life. Together, let’s sustain a hope that has been raised.
